In tradition days,I mean your grandfather*sigh*, days were using the so called”Vacuum Tube” to throughput an amplified,switch and electrical signal.The history of the usage of “Vacuum Tubes” was the in the pass 80yrs ago.Until now,many of manufacturer are reluctant to these method due to many of issues,including the life cycle,cost of an Vacumm Tube,however some manufacturers like Denon would still continue to come out with these products.But you know,with a slightly acceptable price for the little extinct way of technology.
