The SonicGear A6(Available in both black and white variants) came with 2 satellite with a duo tweeters and a pair of bass drives to drive the sounds,while the amplifier and the satellite is sink into a wood chassis for least reflective performance.While the amplifier’s back is integrated with some aluminum fins in order to dissipate the heat off,the tube may easily get heated for approximately 15mins stayed on idling state.
The fins are heated up!The exertions of superb sound may happen in anytime!
Not much goodies bundled along,just the little mighty controller which operates on a cmos battery.
Besides,when came to accessories parts,the A6 came with a slim remote controller and its box only.Not much goodies to play with it,as we may contemplate it as relevant for its price.Ya,price right?Forget to mention,the price price price!It’s RM239 only respectively!While,I would like to confess that the both tweeters in this A6 is pretty impressive,besides delivering crisp and clear sounds,both also blend well with the bass drives underneath the bottom of satellite.
Playing Katy Perry’s[ Thinking of You] and Coldplay’s [Vivaladida] was simply awesome and enjoyable with my onboard ALC8888 codec sounds.While to be fair that the entire system is not equipped with a subwoofer,therefore do not expect for blasting bass in games.To bear in mind that it’s simply a diva for musics and melodies only!
Audio inputs and power cords are simply at a glance,while it would have been more better if they provide us with gold plated coaxial cables instead of the ordinary ones.
To be careful with the awkward cables,it may easily bent of if you are pulling hard.
Verdicts
With the price of Rm239,it’s an absolute deal for flawless sounds.But sadly,the model has discontinued from manufacturing,which making it to be more precious now.=0 There are several aspects which may make the speaker more welcomed if…bundled with gold cables…if there’s no lifetime limitations for the tube…if there’s no extinction for this series.Haha
Most of all,if you have spotted A6 at any of your nearest computer outlets,do not hesitate or tempted right there.Grab one to your home,it’s totally worth for the candy ears!=)
