Lately I found a very interesting trick customizing your lens,yes the paper in the picture is actually a paper!Now you have the freedom to print your own-liked hood and just cut it out and screw into your lens.There is a website providing you the freedom to print out your desired lens hood,of course it’s not going to replace the plastic ones,like it or not papers can afford you for losing it.When you lost one,just print another one.
Lenshoods has a comprehensive choices of prevalent lens,provided with the most used lens.Like me I am using a EFS 18-55 kit lens,and you can get a fancy shaped hood than the ugly plastic hood.

Conclusion
There is no harm giving a try printing out,since it’s a paper one.Just get your copy of lenshood in the form of pdf format,and print it out.For best result,you may use thicker paper and it’s preferably in black color.In my opinions,A4 paper is too thin and it”ll get deformed easily.If you are indeed prefering the plastic one,then you may consider this as a gift from our post.
